Enjoy the minimalist beauty of Japan through your taste buds. Kagizen Cafe's "Amegumo" (Candy Clouds) is recommended by Takahiro Yagi, the 6th generation owner of Kaikado. [Winter Souvenir]

The year-end and New Year holidays are a time when many people bring gifts, such as seasonal greetings and people returning home. FASHION HEADLINE introduces "winter gifts" selected by fashion and beauty industry professionals. If you're having trouble deciding what to bring, check out this list of exceptional gifts endorsed by connoisseurs.

Takahiro Yagi, the sixth-generation owner of Kaikado, a Kyoto tea caddy manufacturer with over 140 years of history, chose "Amegumo" (780 yen), a gift sold exclusively at "Kagizen Gift Shop," located in a back alley in Gion. The shop is located in a quiet, detached house, and the gift shop also houses a cafe, "ZEN CAFE."

Yagi, who travels overseas frequently, says, "The appeal is its beautiful appearance and the fact that it's only sold here," and he often chooses "Amegumo" as a gift.

In the back of the store, there is a workshop where you can observe how Japanese sweets are made, as well as a gallery space where events are held, so if you visit Kyoto, this is not to be missed as it is not only a place to buy souvenirs, but also a place where you can experience the skills of Japanese artisans.
