Dec 30, 2015

The documentary film "If Buildings Could Talk," executive produced by Wim Wenders, will be released on February 20, 2016. The film is an anthology documentary that tells the stories of cultural buildings, based on the theme, "If buildings could talk, what would they say to us?" Six directors, including Wim Wenders and Robert Redford, portray the "inner voices" of world-famous buildings that are dear to them. Robert Redford chose the Salk Institute, where the polio vaccine was developed when he was 11 years old. Wim Wenders chose the Berlin Philharmonic, his hometown. Michael Madsen chose Halden Prison in Norway, said to be the most humane prison in the world and with the lowest recidivism rate in Europe. Margret Olin chose the Oslo Opera House in Norway, and Karim Ainos chose the Pompidou Centre in Paris, where he moved at the age of 17. Michael Klauger, who chose the Loria National Library, made this film his last work.

Opening nationwide from February 20, 2016 at Shibuya Uplink and other theaters.
