Mame has collaborated with sportswear manufacturer Descente's Mizusawa Down, a brand of Allterrain, to release the brand's first down jacket for the 2015-16 Fall/Winter collection. Mizusawa Down, first released in 2008, utilizes the cutting-edge technology of Descente's Mizusawa Factory in Iwate. The jacket features the specialized techniques of the factory, which has previously produced skiwear, jockey vests, and firefighting gear, as well as the high quality achieved through the craftsmanship of artisans. The down packs are heat-sealed and non-quilted, with taped seams to prevent moisture absorption and ensure excellent warmth. The hood also features a "Parahood" storage system to prevent water and snow accumulation, providing unprecedented water resistance. mame created this jacket based on the "Mountaineer," a high-spec model of the Mizusawa Down Jacket, which offers even greater comfort and functionality. Its short length makes it easy to match with mame dresses, and its high neckline completely covers the neck, plus its rounded silhouette give it a feminine look. The dry, matte texture of the material gives it an elegant look. It comes in three colors: orange, white, and navy, and is priced at 125,000 yen each. It is available at the mame online store, as well as department stores such as JR Kyoto Isetan, Sogo Seibu Shibuya, and Isetan Shinjuku, as well as select shops such as TINK, TRENT, greenroom, anatelier, International Relation, and movers AND groovers.
