Illustrator Harumi Yamaguchi's exhibition "Hyper! HARUMI GALS!!" will be held from July 8th to July 25th at the Parco Museum on the 3rd floor of Shibuya Parco Part 1.
Parco Museum will be temporarily closed on August 7th, and to coincide with this, the museum will be holding a project called "SHIBUYA PARCO MUSEUM FINAL EXHIBITIONS," featuring three exhibitions by artists with close ties to Shibuya Parco. This exhibition marks the second installment, following the first installment, "IN MY ROOM," a photo exhibition by Mika Ninagawa.
The venue will feature not only representative works by Harumi Yamaguchi, who participated as an illustrator in the advertising production for Parco's opening, but also her latest "HARUMI GAL" illustrations for 2016, drawn by powerful collaborators. The exhibition space will be created by three collaborators: TOGA designer Yasuko Furuta; French photographer and filmmaker Camille Vivier, known for his collaborations with Hermès, Maison Margiela, and Stella McCartney; and art director Theseus Chan, known as a "national treasure of Singapore."
