EARTH+gallery shop "LUCK," a concept art shop located within EARTH+GALLERY in Kiyosumi Shirakawa, Tokyo, is collaborating with Konkodo Bookstore to create a bookstore called "The Truth About Books and Me" that will run until June 26th. EARTH+gallery shop "LUCK" is a concept shop unique to a gallery that changes its look monthly. Focusing on practical products like accessories, tableware, and clothing accessories, the store selects art pieces that are easy to incorporate into daily life, based on a concept that aligns with the monthly gallery events. This time, "The Truth About Books and Me" is a project unique to June, when the rainy season approaches and people are likely to spend more time reading. Each artist was asked to select "their own book." Products based on that book, as well as archived products that reflect the artist's worldview, will be exhibited and sold alongside Konkodo Bookstore's "Books to Read in June." As if reading a book, visitors can experience the artist's worldview and enjoy their own interpretations. There will also be an artist meet-and-greet at the opening party on the first day. Participating artists include Arai Yumi, Tamura Hajime, Nishiwaki Iori, HAMADARAKA, and Matsuzono Ryosuke.
