Conix, who creates cute and sexy comic-style illustrations of girls, will open a pop-up shop at PASS THE BATON GALLERY in Omotesando Hills from June 30th to July 11th.
Conix has received acclaim both domestically and internationally for his comic-style illustrations, and is active in a variety of media, including illustrations, manga, and merchandise production. The pop-up shop will sell "painted-over items," featuring illustrations of girls printed exclusively for the occasion on deadstock ceramic mugs, piggy banks, used shopping bags, T-shirts, bandanas, and more. Original illustrations, previously unreleased drawings, and archived works will also be on display.
An event featuring the artist himself visiting the gallery is also planned during the exhibition period.
