The second branch of EARTH+gallery shop LUCK, a concept shop that changes its appearance monthly at EARTH+GALLERY in Kiyosumi Shirakawa, Tokyo, is opening on September 4th in the Kyoto Museum Annex in Nakagyo Ward, Kyoto. The first pre-opening event, "Ceramics, Transparent, and," will be held from June 4th to July 3rd.
Together with JARFO, which has been exploring and practicing bridging the gap between the works of domestic and international artists and society and businesses for 20 years, "JARFO Kyoto Bunpaku LUCK" will propose Kyoto traditions and new forms of art from across Japan. As a concept shop with a changing content every month, the store will launch various events tailored to the museum's events and seasons, creating a space where visitors can enjoy art more casually.
The first pre-opening event, "Ceramics, Transparent, and," will exhibit and sell everyday items and accessories created by ceramic and glass artists recommended by LUCK. Participating artists include Akahori Tomomi, Okawa Kazuhiro, Ogata Eriko, Kaneko Hitomi, sushi kitten, Tai Masahiro, Tamura Hajime, Tsukasaki Ai, TOUMEI, and PEKI!RARIGON.
