SONIA RYKIEL will open a pop-up shop for its "Le Copain" mini bag in the promotion space on the third floor of the Hankyu Umeda Main Store from June 29th to July 5th, and in the handbag/promotion section on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Store from July 6th to 12th. The new materials and colors will be available in advance of the nationwide launch.

The chain bag "Le Copain," whose name means "boyfriend" in French, features a compact size that holds only the essentials, a square shape with a large clasp, a bold and eccentric color variation favored by Sonia Rykiel herself, and functionality that can be used in three ways: as a crossbody, shoulder bag, or clutch.

The Hankyu Umeda Main Store will be showcasing the 2016-17 Autumn/Winter Pre-Collection, while the Isetan Shinjuku Store will be showcasing the new "Le Copain" bag from the main collection of the 2016-17 Autumn/Winter. The lineup includes a variety of colors, including red, rose, gold, and multicolor, and materials such as quilted leather, velvet, python, and lamb fur. The collection will be available at participating stores nationwide after the pop-up ends.
