Alexander Wang was appointed CEO and Chairman of his own brand, ALEXANDER WANG, effective June 28th. Alexander will continue to serve as Creative Director and will also be involved in brand management.

Alexander's mother, Ying Wang, who previously served as Chairman, and his sister-in-law, Aimie Wang, who previously served as CEO, have stepped down from their positions to become shareholders and executive officers, while his brother, Dennis Wang, will continue to be involved as an advisor to the company. Additionally, Caroline Wang has been appointed Executive Vice Chairman, and former DKNY President Mary Wang has been appointed Executive Vice President. This organizational expansion strategy aims to maintain brand growth and strengthen all categories. Regarding this personnel change, Alexander commented, "It would have been impossible to grow the brand to this extent without the support of my family. We now need strong leadership and flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing environment." He also commented on his new management role, "I look forward to taking on new challenges as CEO and Chairman. I feel now is the right time to synchronize creative and business and to foster closer conversations with our customers. My goal has always been to enhance the value of the brand and to create a brand that is honest and purposeful."
