Valextra, a Milanese leather goods brand, will be holding a spring-themed pop-up store at The Stage on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Main Building from March 16th to March 22nd, 2022.

Spring is here, and so is the season when hopes and dreams blossom.

At Valextra's pop-up boutique, which will be held at The Stage on the first floor of Isetan Shinjuku Main Building from March 16th to March 22nd, bonbons, baked goods, confectioneries, and cherry blossoms, celebrating the arrival of spring, will be featured in colorful installations and displays, creating a space reminiscent of a flower garden. A large mechanical lollipop blooms to reveal a collection of handbags and leather goods, transporting visitors to another dimension.

Featuring Valextra's signature Millepunte calfskin in a vibrant and airy palette of Pergamena White, Peonia Pink, and Fragola Pink, this special pop-up boutique can be thought of as a mini-universe of movement and technology, reflecting Valextra's core DNA of fluid mobility, engineered beauty, and urban craftsmanship.

The boutique's décor evokes the joy of acquiring what one desires. It also offers a glimpse into the inner workings of Valextra's leather goods, their delicate details, unique serial numbers, and discreet design codes, such as the hand-painted black Inchiostro line. It is our sincere hope that by observing the details firsthand, you will understand the depth of Valextra product creation and experience Valextra once again as a reward that satisfies your desires.

At the Isetan Shinjuku store, which will be open from March 16th, we will be offering advance sales of new models and limited edition colorways, so that you can enjoy Sweet Garden.

The contemporary Iside Belt is now available worldwide for the first time

Valextra's iconic, pinnacle bag, the Iside, now joins the existing large, medium, mini and micro sizes with the addition of the contemporary Iside Belt.
Compact and playful, the miniature Iside fits in the palm of your hand and incorporates functionality and features, from the lock to the handle and Costa finish. The ergonomic main compartment features a small pocket for cards, and the slim, adjustable strap is designed to be worn cross-body. At this pop-up, it will join the Iside family as an adorable design that will add a touch of lightness to your spring outfits, making its global debut.

Also available is the Iside Mini Tangram, a springtime accessory exclusive to the Isetan Mitsukoshi Group.

Paying homage to the polyhedral puzzle known as the Tangram, the Iside Mini Tangram features leather intarsia meticulously crafted by skilled artisans. The elegant Tangram, composed of graphic lines, is available in three color variations. The white and pink combination is exclusive to the Isetan Mitsukoshi Group and will be unveiled at this pop-up.

About Valextra

Founded in 1937 by Giovanni Fontana, Valextra's story begins in Milan, a city that continues to evolve. The brand's birthplace and source of inspiration, the city's symbiotic architecture and urban elegance have paved the way for more than 80 years of iconic Italian craftsmanship. Always inviting and inspiring, the city influences Valextra's ideas and creations, born from the tension between restraint and spontaneity.

As one of Italy's oldest leather goods brands, Valextra's "PRESENT CONTINUOUS" concept speaks to the contemporary spirit of its products, which continue to grow in popularity and recognition. From the iconic Tric Trac wristbag, conceived in 1968, to the Iside handbag, designed in 2011, Valextra's approach to craft and manufacturing blends tradition and innovation. Timeless details, such as the black lacquered Costa edge, the delicate hand-painted Inchiostro, and the famous white Pergamena, remain discreet yet distinctive signatures. Valextra's commitment to the pursuit of beauty for meaningful everyday desires dates back to the days of Fontana, the engineer, explorer, and entrepreneur. The Valextra atelier at 1 Via San Babila featured floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing him to observe the daily commutes of Milanese people and conceive pieces that combine everyday function with aesthetic sensibility. This philosophy remains true today. The result is essential, versatile pieces that express urban craftsmanship, perpetuating the timeless legacy of Valextra designs.
