The fourth installment of the Marni x Porter Collaboration Collection, "FOUR COLLECTION," will be released on January 28th. Since its launch in December 2013, the two brands have collaborated on Porter's lightweight, functional bags, featuring Marni's original prints. This time, Porter's four bags, which express a lighter, more military feel, feature the brand's popular color blocking, showcasing the beauty of color combinations. The color combination, centered around dark olive, is pursued not only in the base fabric but also in the details, from tape, zippers, and stitching. A 2-way waist bag (79,000 yen) features an aluminum die-cast closure, a rare find for Porter. By stowing away the waist bag strap, it can also be used as a shoulder bag. The chest strap of the backpack (82,000 yen) features a beautifully laid-out aluminum die-cast. The 2-way helmet bag with a round zip (55,000 yen) features a gold zipper as an accent.
These items, along with two types of wallets (wide 19,000 yen, regular 16,000 yen), make up a total of six items in the new collection. They will be available at select Marni stores and at a pop-up shop for Valentine's Day.
The pop-up shop will be open from January 28th in three locations: the first-floor event space at Hankyu Men's Osaka, the fourth floor at Hankyu Men's Tokyo, and the second floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Men's Store. It will then open at the first-floor event space at Hankyu Men's Tokyo on February 4th, the second floor at Hankyu Men's Osaka on February 8th, and the first-floor event space at the Iwataya Fukuoka Main Store on February 11th.
