The Nipponista team, who are opening a pop-up store in New York to share the best of Japan's products and people with the world, have sent us a report from the reception party they held the night before the grand opening.

They were busy preparing right up until the last minute, but we were able to attract a huge crowd! In addition to media representatives from Japan and abroad, Kansai Yamamoto and Ryuichi Sakamoto were also in attendance.

Many people also stopped to look at the balloon dresses made with balloons by Daisy Balloon, who also creates balloon art for Nipponista posters. It created a truly magical atmosphere.

Seeing the white and red Nipponista flag floating in the New York night sky was a deeply moving experience.

We hope that the pop-up shop starting tomorrow will not only convey our products and decorations, but also our spirit of hospitality! The Nipponista staff are also excited.
