The "Kiki & Lala x Care Bears Exhibition," celebrating the collaboration between the popular Sanrio characters "Little Twin Stars," nicknamed "Kiki & Lala," and the American-born character "Care Bears," will open at Shibuya Parco from April 4th. The exhibition will feature the history of Kiki & Lala and the Care Bears, past products, the story of how the collaboration came about, collaborative art, and various videos. Collaboration products will be available for pre-sale, and plush toys of "Sky Buddy," a new bear character born from the collaboration, will also be on sale. There will also be a photo spot. Additionally, "THE GUEST cafe & diner," scheduled to open this spring on the 7th floor restaurant floor of Shibuya Parco Part 1, will open the "Little Twin Stars (Kiki & Lala) Cafe," the first limited-time Kiki & Lala cafe in the Kanto region, on March 21st. The cafe offers original menu items that are not only cute to look at, but also authentic in taste, such as "Tropical Star Waffles," "Kiki's Dreamy Soda," and "Lala's Sweet Soda."
The collaboration between Kiki & Lala and the Care Bears began in December last year with the release of licensed apparel products in Japan. The collaborative design was created by American Greetings, the US company that owns the copyright to the Care Bears, and Sanrio.
