Denham renovates its Omotesando Hills store, introducing women's items

Feb 20, 2014

Dutch denim brand DENHAM is renovating its store on the first basement floor of the Omotesando Hills main building to open its first flagship store in Japan carrying both men's and women's wear on March 1st.

The total floor space is approximately 170 square meters. The interior of the men's section, the largest in Japan, features deep wood flooring, white walls, minimalist furniture, and vintage tools as accents. The hangers with custom-made scissors attached to the wall are still in use. There will also be a corner where customers can use a UNION SPECIAL sewing machine to perform traditional chain stitch hemming and customization. The interior of the women's section features a minimalist design based on polished concrete, with added wood accents and royal indigo blue creating a contrast. Available exclusively at Omotesando Hills, the men's collection includes an ash gray garment-dyed jacket (58,170 yen) and vest (31,290 yen), a blue sweatshirt (31,290 yen), and ash gray coated slim-fit colored pants (35,070 yen). Women's items include a yellow maxi dress (62,790 yen), a raisin and black striped top (13,440 yen), skinny-fit jeans (40,320 yen), and a white skirt with a colorful parrot print (34,440 yen). Novelty gifts will also be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Also scheduled for opening this spring is Japan's first women's concept store on the third floor of Roppongi Hills West Walk.
