Johnbull's summer 2014 collection continues the theme of "Botanist" from its spring collection. As a summer collection, men's designs primarily feature patterned shorts and shirts. The designs are primarily botanical. For the past few years, lightweight pants have been popular, even in the fall and winter seasons. However, starting with the 2013-14 Autumn/Winter season, some customers have begun to favor thicker fabrics due to a growing preference for high-quality and authentic items. For this reason, this summer's collection will feature thicker colored pants. Following this trend, denim pants will also be primarily made from 13-14 ounce fabrics. For women, short, wide-leg sweatshirts, which have been popular since the fall of 2013, will continue to be a hit. For bottoms, high-waisted pencil skirts, slim tapered pants, and pants with draped silhouettes will be the main focus. However, blue jeans will be strengthened in response to demand in some areas of central Tokyo. White pants, which have been popular year-round since last year, will continue this summer.
