Actress Drew Barrymore was born on February 22, 1975, in Los Angeles, USA. Her parents, grandparents, and great-aunts are all actors, so she grew up in a family of entertainers. She began appearing in commercials at age 11 months and made her film debut at age 4. Her role as the protagonist's younger sister in "E.T." in 1982 brought her worldwide recognition as a child prodigy. However, she became addicted to alcohol, tobacco, and drugs at an early age, and attempted suicide at age 14. Believing her mother was to blame for her self-indulgence, Barrymore filed for independence from her mother at age 15, and was recognized as an adult by the court. After becoming independent, Barrymore earned a living by working part-time jobs and constantly auditioning. Since returning to the front line, she has had major hits, including "Charlie's Angels" (2000). She has also appeared in films like "The 25th Kiss" and "He's Just Not That Into You." She not only starred in but also served as executive producer of "The Roller Girls," and directed "The Roller Girls."

In her personal life, she married for the third time in 2012 to Will Kopelman, the son of former Chanel CEO Arie Kopelman, and gave birth to her first child in September of the same year.
