A limited-time shop for MELANTRICK HEMLIGHT, a brand created by stylist Yuya, will be open from February 19th to March 4th in the TOKYO Kaihoku area on the second floor of the main building of Isetan Shinjuku. The first and second weeks of the two-week event will feature different themes. The first half, from February 19th, will focus on "Cats and Fashion," showcasing the brand's collection featuring cat motifs such as cat tails and profiles. The second half, from the 26th, will focus on the "Transformation Room." Entering the box-like space will allow you to transform as if under a spell, and the new spring collection will be introduced, with non-cat motifs. Cat fans flocked to the store on the first day, and the most popular item, the "Koneko Ryoshka," sold out by the second day. The storefront decoration design for this event will be handled by Cho Hikaru, a popular illustrator known for his body painting, which involves drawing realistic eyes and other objects on the body. Collaboration products with the brand will also be sold at the venue, and a live painting event will be held in the store from 10:30am to 3pm on the 26th. The first 100 customers who spend over 15,750 yen during the event will receive an original brand tote bag. Melantric Hemlight made its debut at Tokyo Collection in 2013. Their clothing is based on the concept of "imagining the emotions and stories of that moment, and using various tricks from the secret space in their heads to change the shape and create clothing."
