GANRYU, a Comme des Garçons brand, presented its 2014-2015 Autumn/Winter collection at a floor show on February 5th. The designer, GANRYU Ayato, created the collection with a theme of Spiritual Ambience. The collection showcased the brand's signature loose-fitting pieces and fitted looks. This time, fleece was used extensively. Items like a boa fleece blouson and a fleece-trimmed cut-and-sew top offered a light yet warm look. A new item was also introduced: a wrap skirt. Available in mid-length and long lengths, the fleece leggings that could be worn underneath were also available. GANRYU is known for its cute accessories, and this sense remained unchanged this time around. Items that caught the eye included a leather shopping bag, a scarf with pockets, and a feminine mohair scarf. Another highlight was the unveiling of the brand's first women's look. While the brand initially focused on unisex styles, this was the first time it offered a purely women's collection. This collection also primarily uses fleece. They showed off voluminous dresses, tops, skirts, and more with star (☆) shapes on the front. Three pieces were shown in the show, but they have produced around 20 styles.
