Saga Prefecture, which is focusing on design and branding, announced on February 19th that it will be collaborating with Square Enix on the popular "SaGa" series, calling it "Romancing Saga." This project is part of the prefecture's information dissemination project, "Factory SaGa." Incidentally, the fourth SaGa game is also titled "Romancing SaGa." Part three has been produced. The main initiative will be the "Romancing Saga LOUNGE," which will be held at Roppongi Hills from March 13th to 16th, showcasing the appeal of Saga's traditional crafts and local products through the "SaGa" series. The venue will exhibit traditional Saga crafts, including a large Arita ware platter hand-painted by Tomomi Kobayashi, illustrator of the "SaGa" series. In addition, limited-edition collaboration products will be available for purchase, and a limited-edition collaboration food menu featuring ingredients from the prefecture will be offered. On the final day, there will be talks and a special live performance by Square Enix's Kawazu Akitoshi, the creator of the "Saga" series, and Saga Prefecture Governor Furukawa Yasushi (from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM). Capacity is 100 people. Applications are accepted from Square Enix official website members.
Saga Prefecture has been holding Factory Saga since 2013, and has previously collaborated with Takarajimasha and others.
