Zegna Group signs eyewear licensing agreement with Marcolin

The Marcolin Group, one of the leaders in the luxury eyewear industry, has signed a licensing agreement with the Ermenegildo Zegna Group.
Marcolin will be responsible for the production and sales of eyewear for Ermenegildo Zegna and AGNONA, both of which are managed by the Ermenegildo Zegna Group. The agreement is for 10 years, with the first collection launching in January 2015.
In 2012, the Marcolin Group sold 5.5 million eyewear products worldwide. Its licensed brands include Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Montblanc, and Tod's, and its own brands include Marcolin, National, and Web. In December 2013, the company acquired Viva Optique, the second largest optical company in the United States, expanding its brand portfolio and strengthening its distribution and sales network in the United States.
