Cosmetics brand Guerlain released new base makeup and skincare items on February 21st. This time, their popular compact foundation has been revamped. The Perle Blanc Bright & Scalp Compact (4 colors available, ¥9,135 each; refills, ¥6,825 each) is a foundation that contains three shades in one compact. It maintains its light texture and soft feel while offering increased coverage. Blending the three colors together controls the skin tone of the entire face and creates a three-dimensional look. It also contains the skincare ingredient "P.E.A.P.L. Complex Advanced," which is also included in the skincare products being released at the same time, to maintain a healthy brightness and translucence of the skin even while applying makeup. The included sponge has a different texture on the front and back: use the soft rubber side for a high-coverage finish and the velvet side for a softer finish. Guerlain's iconic face powder will also be available in a new color, Meteriot Beaule No.1 (25g/8,085 yen). Featuring Stardust Technology that captures invisible light and transforms it into radiance, the white pearl and three pastel pearl colors create a radiant, bright complexion. Also being released at the same time are four products: the medicated whitening serum Perle Blanc Pearly Essence (30ml/15,750 yen), the Perle Blanc Day & Night Treatment (15ml, two-pack/28,350 yen), a set of two treatments for daytime and nighttime use, the Perle Blanc Night Mask (60ml/11,550 yen), a nighttime whitening mask for thorough care while you sleep, and the cleansing product Perle Blanc Cleansing Foam (150ml/6,720 yen).
