The instant film-themed gallery "Impossible Project Space" in Nakameguro, Tokyo, will close after the photo exhibition "Sawatari Hajime: Rain," running from March 1st to 23rd.
The gallery opened in December 2010 as part of its efforts to promote analog film photography, including instant film. It has hosted photo exhibitions by numerous photographers using analog integral film, but after four years, the gallery will be temporarily closing this year.
The finale exhibition, "Sawatari Hajime: Rain," will feature works from Sawatari Hajime's latest series, "Rain," in which digital images have been reprinted onto analog photographs using the "INSTANT LAB" developing machine.
