DSQUARED2 has announced a collaboration with Snoopy and his sister, Belle.
To celebrate the 65th anniversary of Snoopy and Belle's birth, the brand is participating in the charity project "Snoopy & Belle in Fashion," which has been running for over 30 years. This collaboration is part of that initiative, and profits from the project will be used for various charitable causes.
The brand's designers, Dean and Dan Caten, designed the brand's iconic red checked parkas, jeans, and mountain boots for Snoopy and his friends. "We grew up watching Snoopy in Canada, so we dressed him in winter clothes," said Dean and Dan.
The fashionably dressed Snoopy and Belle will be featured in an exhibition at the New Museum in Manhattan on September 8th during New York Fashion Week. The exhibition will feature the work of all the designers who participated in "Snoopy & Bell in Fashion," dating back to the 1980s, along with sketches and dolls, and will then travel to Paris, Moscow, Paris, Milan, and California.
