"Young Hollywood," a portrait photo book by photographer Claiborne Swanson Frank, will be released (published by Asleen), with support from Michael Kors and with a foreword contributed by the designer.

In the fall of 2012, Claiborne appeared as the first collaborator for "KORS COLLABORATION," a digital project in which Michael collaborates with people active in various fields. Following the success of that collaboration, Michael has decided to support "Young Hollywood," Claiborne's second project following "American Beauty." The book features over 60 women, including young Hollywood actresses, directors, producers, screenwriters, and stylists, including Isabel Lucas, Elisabeth Moss, Dakota Johnson, Imogen Poots, Mickey Sumner, and Amber Heard. Some models are even wearing Michael Kors items. The foreword is by actress Amy Seimetz. In her foreword, Michael says, "Claiborne is a talented woman who shares my vision of glamour. This book encompasses all the elements we desire in the modern woman, and her subjects exude intelligence and sophistication beyond their years."

Michael Kors will be featuring a variety of events, including an exclusive introduction to the contents, an online conversation with Claiborne, and a short film offering a glimpse behind the scenes of the photo book's production. Content set in Los Angeles will be distributed on the DestinationKors website and the brand's social media channels.

The book will be available at 10 Michael Kors stores worldwide, including the Roppongi Hills store, on August 22nd, and will also be available for purchase through Aslean's sales channels from September onwards. The price is 7,700 yen. A publication celebration dinner party hosted by Michael Kors will be held in Los Angeles in October.
