Summer festival event at Yoyogi Village. Live music, sand art, and more.

Yoyogi VILLAGE by kurkku will host the summer festival event "NATSUMATSURI Beach Exotica" on August 24th. The talk show will feature host Shigesato Itoi, plant hunter Seijun Nishihata, and Reiko Tomomori of the animal rights group Rencontre Mignon. Under the title "Cute Plants. Cute Animals," the event will explore the relationship between plants and animals. The evening will also feature a live performance by the sand art performance group "SILT." Guests include Salyu and Takeshi Kobayashi, and dinner will be served at the on-site restaurant "code kurkku," where you can listen to live music. Additionally, the venue will feature a mirror ball performance by "Mirrorballs," as well as workshops on Hawaiian leis, candles, birdhouses, and more. A special food menu will also be available, including fresh juice made with organic ingredients and authentic German hot dogs prepared by a German team.
