EPOCA debuted in 1995 as "international clothing from Japan." Now in its 19th year, the brand has been attracting attention with its updated line of sophisticated, sophisticated clothing for the "gentle woman" since the 2014 Autumn/Winter season, with Milan-based Italian designer Gabriele Colangelo as creative director. Colangelo, committed to crafting clothing inspired by Italian culture—traditional tailoring techniques, luxurious details, and minimalist designs—adds to the image of the urbane EPOCA woman, presenting a feminine image of intelligence, kindness, and strength, aiming to appeal to discerning women. A pop-up shop featuring jackets, a central element of this evolution, will be held from September 3rd to 9th at Center Park/The Stage #4 on the 4th floor of Isetan Shinjuku. Among the ten jacket styles offered at the pop-up shop, one iconic jacket (66,000 yen) symbolizes the new Epoca. This item is made in Japan and incorporates men's tailoring techniques to create a structured silhouette and comfortable fit that rivals imported brands. Epoca is launching a new standard jacket that fits the Japanese woman's figure. This jacket can be paired with the same material for an official on-duty look, or paired with denim for a casual, stylish look. Priced at ¥70,000 to ¥80,000, it's more than a domestic brand but less than an import. It's sure to be on any discerning woman's "must-buy" list. Additionally, the pop-up shop will offer two limited-edition jackets exclusive to Isetan Mitsukoshi. One is a silk taffeta jacket (¥300,000), one of only three in the world, available at Isetan Shinjuku, Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi Main Store, and Mitsukoshi Ginza. The white jacket, considered the most luxurious color, is said to have been completed with couture-like handwork in an atelier that brings together the finest craftsmanship. Also, three attractive jackets are available, priced at just ¥150,000, lower than the ¥300,000 price tag of this limited-edition jacket. These include a glittery jacquard, a paneled jacquard woven with silk wool featuring a bold green and silver color scheme, and a black jacket with a geometric pattern created with sequins. All of these jackets highlight the bold, Made in Italy materials. Choosing and styling your own unique, "personal" jacket will highlight your personality more than just the jacket's presence. Another topic of discussion is the addition of sizes 39 and 41 to the previously available Italian sizes of 38, 40, and 42. These three jackets will be available in five sizes, adding sizes never before seen in ready-to-wear. Since size and fit are crucial to flattering your style, why not use them as criteria for choosing your own unique jacket?
The pop-up shop will also be held simultaneously at Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Main Store and Ginza Mitsukoshi.
