
The October issue of Vogue Japan (on sale August 28th) will come with a charm featuring a collaboration between Gucci, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Japan, and Hello Kitty, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary.
The charm features Hello Kitty, based on a hand-drawn sketch by Gucci's creative director, Frida Giannini, wearing items from Gucci's 2014-15 Autumn/Winter collection. She looks cool in sunglasses and a fur coat.
Also, a total of six Hello Kitty camera frames dressed in Gucci will be released at the same time, exclusive to Vogue Fashion's Night Out 2014 (FNO), to be held on September 6th. If you download the app in advance and visit Gucci Aoyama on the day of FNO, you can get three secret frames on each floor.
The FNO Osaka version frames, which will be held at Hankyu Umeda Main Store and Hankyu Men's Osaka on October 18th, are scheduled to be released from September 7th.
