Dior Fragrance and Color Festival to be held at Shinjuku Isetan

Aug 20, 2014

Dior will hold "Dior Les Parfums," a festival of scents and colors, at The Stage on the first floor of the Isetan Shinjuku store. The event will run from August 20th to 25th.

As for the scent, Dior fragrance specialists will offer a service to select the scent that best suits each individual from the 12 limited-edition fragrances, "La Collection Privée Christian Dior."

This collection, which can be said to be the culmination of Dior's unique creativity, symbolizes the spirit of "being both couturier and perfumer," which has been passed down since the brand's founding. All 12 fragrances have names closely related to the Dior House, and each is priced at 31,500 yen (125ml). The fragrances include "Gris Montaigne," a chypre scent inspired by the address of the Dior flagship store, "30 Avenue Montaigne," and "Grand Bal," with its sparkling floral bouquet scent, representing the grand balls that Dior was captivated by.

Also available is the "Exclusive Candle Collection," featuring five candles created using traditional candle-making techniques. Each is priced at 9,500 yen, and candle accessories are also available separately.

As for "color," Dior makeup artists, who are color experts, will propose makeup designs that match the image of the fragrance using limited-edition eyeshadow and nail colors.

The looks, which use the limited edition eyeshadow palette "Cinq Leurs #656 Pastel Shock" (7,600 yen), inspired by "Gris Montaigne," and the eyeshadow palette "Toi Couleurs Smoky #531" (5,800 yen), with colors inspired by "Grand Bal," both have an elegant look that suits autumn and winter. In addition, limited edition colors of nail polish will also be sold.

In addition, limited edition Dior fragrances will also be on sale in the fragrance corner of the fashion zone on the first floor of the store.
