Eyewear brand MAX PITTION has announced two new models: "VEGA" and "GITANE." Both models incorporate original designs from the brand's early days, blended with new original designs. VEGA is inspired by the fashion of wanderlust in places like Marrakech and Morocco, while GITANE is inspired by women liberating themselves to dance beats. Both models feature gold accents. To coincide with the release of these two new models, new colored frame colors, "RUBY," "ROCKET BLUE," and "NUDE," are available. These frames will also be sold with existing models. "Our focus in design is on silhouette, lines, and light and dark. The addition of colored frames allows for even more enjoyment of light and movement. The nude color is particularly recommended for its natural and sexy look. We hope to continue expanding the world of the new MAX PITTION through colored frames," said designer Tommy O'Gara. The frames are made from Takilon acetate resin. Produced from cotton oil, this acetate does not contain petroleum-based chemicals, making it an environmentally friendly material that is also durable and has an elegant texture.
Max Pittion is a long-established French eyewear brand that represented the 1960s and 1970s. Creative director John Mayer acquired the rights to revive the brand, releasing three models last year that reproduce the designs of the time: "Politician," "Shelby," and "Newell." The designs and production are handled by O'Gara, who also works on eyewear for Supreme and Visvim.
