Illustrator and filmmaker Ryu Okubo's "Alluptoyou" exhibition, "Artwork from the Mndsgn & Stones Throw Music Video," will be held at INS Studio in Shibuya, Tokyo, from February 17th to 21st. Ryu Okubo's work appears in music-related books, magazines, and advertisements. In 2016, he created the music video for "Alluptoyou," a track from the Los Angeles artist Mind Design (Mndsgn)'s album "Body Wash," which garnered significant attention. The video took approximately three months to complete, with airbrushed drawings attached one by one to the wall and then filmed. This exhibition is being held to commemorate Mndsgn's visit to Japan. During the exhibition, Okubo's 1,000 original airbrush drawings, storyboards, and production tools will be on display and for sale. Mind Design-related LPs, CDs, and T-shirts will also be available for purchase.
