AKIRANAKA pop-up will be held at Isetan Shinjuku Re-Style. A special Isetan knitwear piece that expresses "color" through knitting will be released.

Event Date:2022.02.02-02.08
Jan 27, 2022
Isetan Shinjuku will host the AKIRANAKA 2022 RESORT COLLECTION POP-UP from February 2nd to 8th at Re-Style on the 3rd floor of the main building. Based on the theme of "Attitudes Inspired by Color," this collection explores the emotions evoked when wearing clothing of various hues. Centered around dusty and pale hues, the collection offers a new expression of the unsettled hues of women's emotions, including "bouncing colors," "colors in the light," and "colors that shimmer with transparency." We'll be showcasing a unique display that allows you to experience this season's AKIRANAKA worldview, along with a selection of items only available at the POP-UP.

Check out the "one-of-a-kind knitwear" in colors exclusive to Isetan Shinjuku

This knitwear, which expresses this season's theme of "color" through knitting, was inspired by the hair braiding techniques used in certain ethnic costumes. The transitional sections are hand-knitted, and various tapes and ribbons made from hand-torn fabric are hand-embroidered into this couture-like piece. This special knitwear, which took an enormous amount of time to knit, is available in three colors exclusive to Isetan (off-white, light brown, and navy).
