
"STOP THE TIME," a solo exhibition by the artist duo magma, comprised of Jun Sugiyama and Kenichi Miyazawa, will be held at VOILLD Art Gallery in Nakameguro, Tokyo, from March 3rd to 31st. Magma specializes in works that combine resin, scrap wood, electrical appliances, and wood by hand, and their work spans a wide range of fields, from advertising art to spatial design, furniture, and products. They have previously worked on music videos and stage sets for Yuzu, as well as music videos for Kaela Kimura, Sakanaction, and Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, and the set for the NHK music program "Music Japan." This exhibition, their third exhibition following last year's "SYMVOL," will feature approximately 30 pieces, primarily three-dimensional objects and sculptures, as well as flat collages and paintings. Limited-edition merchandise, including new key chains, will also be available for purchase, along with T-shirts, hoodies, and bags in collaboration with Isetan Shinjuku.
