Artist Taro Ando creates works by filling monochrome grid patterns with color. His solo exhibition, "CLUSTER," will be held at CCCSCD gallery in Okayama Prefecture from February 25th to March 12th.

With the theme of activity and presence, Ando's intricate grid patterns are painted on large canvases. By layering colors over and over again, the subtle variations in shade and the grid become apparent, and the act of continually filling the system becomes the work itself.
