"TOKYO Kaihoku 5th Anniversary FASHION LOVE MUSEUM ~Fashion is Wonderful!!~" will be held from March 1st to 14th at Center Park/TOKYO Kaihoku, 2nd floor of the Isetan Shinjuku Main Building.
TOKYO Kaihoku is celebrating its fifth anniversary since its remodel in March 2013, based on the concept of "the world's greatest fashion museum." During that time, approximately 700 brands and creators have been involved. To commemorate this, the project, themed "Fashion Love," will bring together approximately 40 brands with ties to TOKYO Kaihoku to present various content and develop special collaboration items. These limited-edition items will feature designers' Polaroid photos and messages of love and care.
The stylist project will be directed by stylists with ties to TOKYO Kaihoku, including Itsuki Aizawa, Rika Endo, and Sota Yamaguchi, as well as stylists with ties to TOKYO Kaihoku, and will introduce special looks featuring items from participating brands. There will also be limited-edition collaboration items from brands that have previously participated in the TOKYO Kaihoku project. These include a one-of-a-kind knitwear from Malamute and YUKI FUJISAWA, a dress from MIKIOSAKABE and Jenny Fax, knit clothespins in limited colors from writtenafterwards, earrings from aacero and somnium, as well as KEITA MARUYAMA and DRESSCAMP items exclusive to Isetan Mitsukoshi, and a limited-edition sweatshirt from KEISUKEYOSHIDA.
In addition, there will be an "aacero x somnium accessory ordering event" where you can talk directly with designers and creators about your love of fashion, as well as in-store events such as the "Doll's Festival Project" on March 3rd, the "TOKYO Kaihoku Thank You Day" on March 9th, and the "White Day Project" on March 14th. The participating designers will be available to discover when they visit the store on the day.
The logo specially created for this event was designed by creator Keiichiro Oshima. Also available is a special page, "TOKYO Kaihoku 5th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL ISSUE" (http://isetanparknet.com/tokyokaihoku5th/), which introduces comments from approximately 60 people, including designers and creators who have participated in TOKYO Kaihoku events over the past five years, as well as people in the fashion industry.
