adidas Originals by Alexander Wang will pre-release its Drop2 collection, "Flip Pack," in seven stores worldwide on March 1st.
With the concept of "destroying the boundaries between fashion and streetwear," adidas Originals by Alexander Wang offers 84 unisex apparel and footwear pieces created based on the idea of "overturning conventional wisdom." The items feature a new symbol, "adidas Originals by Alexander Wang," which is a reversal of the iconic "Trefoil" and "Originals" logos.
This collection proposes a new approach to the three stripes by destroying the iconic three stripes of adidas Originals and turning the lining inside out to use the seams as a design. The collection includes track jackets (priced at ¥29,000 and ¥35,000), crop tops (¥20,000), and shorts (¥22,000). Crafted from tricot, the pieces come in three colors: black, dark indigo, and maroon. The collection will be available exclusively at seven stores on March 1st: Barneys in New York, Colette in Paris, Antonioli in Milan, Storm in Copenhagen, Boon the Shop in Seoul, and Joyce in Hong Kong, as well as at Dover Street Market Ginza in Japan. The collection will then be available at select adidas Originals stores and Alexander Wang flagship stores and online stores on March 4th. The second part of the advertising campaign, which is released in conjunction with each collection drop, will also be released to coincide with the collection's launch. The shoot was photographed by Juergen Teller and styled by Karl Templer, and featured models including Rocco Ritchie, as well as longtime Alexander Wang models Hanne Gaby Odiele, Binx Walton, Lexi Bolling, Luke Story, and Chris Fernandez.
