Lucien Pellat-Finet's Spring/Summer 2022 collection is themed around Christiania, Copenhagen's last borough.

Lucien Pellat-Finet's Spring/Summer 2022 collection was themed around Christiania, a free town in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Over the past few seasons, the brand has returned to its roots in Cuba and Scotland, reflecting the beauty of color and eternal nature that are its roots. This season, the focus is on Christiania, a community that respects diverse values and that built an autonomous society out of social change such as the hippie movement and anarchism, as well as spirituality.

A style that protects an ecological lifestyle in harmony with nature is expressed in designs such as oversized and thick T-shirts, which express the diversity created by "twisting," "unexpectedness," and "dissonance."

Freetown Christiania has its roots in 1971, when a small group of hippies and unemployed people struggling with housing issues squatted on a disused military base site at the time. As the COVID-19 pandemic calls for a global shift in lifestyle awareness, this fun wardrobe captures the relaxed harmony of Christiania, which evokes a utopia and wonderland, using the finest materials such as Scottish cashmere and linen cotton.
