While the Caliber 9R86 has an average monthly rate of ±15 seconds (equivalent to ±1 second per day), the Caliber 9R96 has an average monthly rate of ±10 seconds (equivalent to ±0.5 seconds per day).
The Caliber 9R16 used in the GMT model is a specially adjusted version of the 9R Spring Drive GMT movement, the Caliber 9R66, with even higher precision. While the Caliber 9R66 has an average monthly rate of ±15 seconds (equivalent to ±1 second per day), the Caliber 9R16 has an average monthly rate of ±10 seconds (equivalent to ±0.5 seconds per day).
As proof of their special adjustment precision, both movements feature an 18K yellow gold lion emblem on the oscillating weight, which can be seen through the see-through case back.
