
Actor John Malkovich was born on December 9, 1953, in Illinois, USA.
In 1976, he co-founded Steppenwolf Theatre Company with his friend Gary Sinise, and performed in numerous productions. He also won numerous awards, including an Obie Award, on Broadway for his work in True West and Death of a Salesman. His film debut in 1984, Places in the Heart, earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
He has played a wide range of roles, from villains to timid characters, and has gained popularity for his outstanding acting skills, appearing in films such as The Secret Service (1993), for which he received a second Oscar nomination, Being John Malkovich (1999), and the RED series, the sequel of which is currently in theaters.
In 2011, he launched his own fashion brand, Technobohemian. He personally handles everything from design sketches to fabric selection, and proposes a "sophisticated casual look" with "bohemian" as his keyword.
