Goop, the e-commerce site run by actress Gwyneth Paltrow, has collaborated with Michael Kors. A capsule collection featuring limited-edition items for the holiday season was released on December 5th.
Soft cashmere capes, peplum sweaters with classic knitwear and flared details, and gold-buttoned pea coats are available exclusively on goop. Also available are a suede tote bag with metal accents (156,450 yen) and a menswear-inspired oversized watch (37,800 yen), both of which Gwyneth selected as her signature Michael Kors items. The collection is available for purchase on the site (shipping available to Japan).
"Gwyneth and Goop customers are both chic, smart, and busy. These items are sure to complement any style," said Michael Kors in a statement. Gwyneth also said, "These reinterpretations of my favorite Michael Kors items that I've worn for many years are likely to become key items in my closet."
To commemorate the release, an original video has been released on YouTube in which the two friends fly to Los Angeles and prepare for Christmas by baking cookies and decorating the tree. Gwyneth is wearing a peplum sweater.
