PASS THE BATON has announced its year-end and New Year events. A limited-time shop for the upcycling product brand "NEWSED" will open at its Omotesando store. At its Marunouchi store, the brand will sell accessories and other items from the craftsmanship brand "Iku." The "NEWSED POP UP STORE & UP CYCLE DESIGN AWARD EXHIBITION" will be held at the Omotesando store from December 27th. A pop-up store for NEWSED, based on the concept of "renewing old things by looking at them from a new perspective," will open. Starting January 17th, NEWSED will exhibit and sell limited-time products that have won the "NEWSED UP CYCLE DESIGN AWARD," which was held to further spread the concept of "upcycling." Items on display include bubble kits made from sliced aluminum extrusions and wall clocks made from offcuts from hollowing out organ speakers. A party celebrating the awards will also be held on the 17th.
From December 26th, the Marunouchi store will be exhibiting and selling works themed around "antique flower arranging tools" and accessories with "confectionery-shaped silhouettes." These are made by "hagumu," a manufacturing brand that uses traditional Japanese motifs and materials.
