January 1, 2013: Condé Nast Japan is established, integrating three companies including Vogue and GQ.

Condé Nast Publications Japan, LLC, which publishes women's magazines with "VOGUE JAPAN" at its core; Condé Nast Japan, LLC, which publishes men's magazines with "GQ JAPAN" at its core; and CondeNet.jp, LLC, which operates websites, will merge to establish Condé Nast Japan LLC on January 1, 2013.

The aims of the merger are to speed up decision-making, make collaborative business between the three companies smoother and more rapid, increase revenue through new businesses that utilize the business assets of the three companies, and strengthen the business foundation and reduce costs by streamlining human resources. The merger will accelerate the business strategy of "one source, multi-use, multi-monetization," and will develop business across multiple platforms, including magazines, websites, applications, events, and seminars, based on valuable content and strong brand power.
