Valveat 81, a select shop in Minami-Aoyama, is hosting an installation by artist Yukino Omura, "Beautiful Midnight," which runs until December 29th.

Yukino Omura is a sticker artist who creates paintings using small stickers for stationery. In this exhibition, she uses stickers to express the glittering illuminations of Omotesando.

Omura was born in Jilin Province, China in 1988. She graduated from the Department of Oil Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts, Tama Art University in 2013. In 2012, she was selected and won the Audience Award in the art category of the Tokyo Midtown Award. In addition to her work as an artist, she also provides design services, designs book covers, holds workshops, and develops stationery sticker products. Her major solo exhibitions include "Wonderful Night" (2013, Ginza Gallery Q) and "Konica Minolta Plaza Special Feature: Pink Ribbon Omura Yukino Sticker Art Exhibition" (same address, Shinjuku Konica Minolta Plaza).

In November, she held an exhibition called "Beautiful Night" at Isetan Shinjuku, where she presented new works themed around the town of Shinjuku.
