On April 6th, adidas Originals will simultaneously release 14 new models from its popular "NMD" sneaker line. The NMD, which debuted in December 2015 as a shoe that combines adidas' traditional archive with cutting-edge technologies like BOOST and Primeknit, is now in its third season. The "NMD_CS2" (¥25,000) features a sock-like construction, with a wraparound upper made of one-piece Primeknit, accented with embroidered details. The NMD's signature BOOST midsole incorporates EVA plug-in parts only on the medial side, and the exterior features finely carved stripes for a sharper, more refined silhouette. The next-generation "NMD_R2" (¥18,000) silhouette will also be available in a new colorway. The Primeknit upper features a woven stripe motif, complemented by tonal three-stripes, laces, and a molded heel patch. The Boost midsole features a woven heel patch, rubber outsole, and EVA plug-in parts integrated asymmetrically on the medial side in a bold Core Red finish. The model also comes in four other colors, including a minimalist white and red combination, Core Black, and College Navy, as well as two "NMD_R2 PK" models featuring a more premium, one-piece molded Primeknit upper. The next-generation women's model, the "NMD_R2 PK W" (¥16,000), features a sock-like fit with a knitted stripe pattern on the Primeknit upper, accented by a leather heel tab featuring polka dots on the three-stripes. The inner sole features a contrasting plug-in part, while the outer sole features striped details on the Boost. The asymmetrical finish evolves the original design in a new way.

A total of 14 models will be released, including the all-black "NMD_XP1 PK" with a COLOR BOOST sole and the women's "NMD_R2 PK W" with a Primeknit upper with a polka dot print.

In addition to the footwear, an NMD apparel and accessories collection created with the concept of urban adventure will also be released in April.
