On January 12th, Stella McCartney presented her Fall 2016 collection in Los Angeles for the first time. The presentation took place at Amoeba Music, one of the largest record stores in the United States, and featured a live music event, with models showcasing the collection's looks. The live music performance featured top artists such as George Harrison's eldest son, Dhani Harrison, New Orleans' iconic Dirty Dozen Brass Band, You + Me (P!nk and Dallas Green), and Brian Wilson, former leader of The Beach Boys. There was also a surprise performance by Johnny Depp and Marilyn Manson. Guests invited to the event included not only Johnny Depp and other performers, but also Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Ringo Starr, Kim Gordon, Mary J. Blige, Katy Perry, Beck, Quincy Jones, Kate Hudson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Anjelica Huston, Lily Collins, Dree Hemingway, and Gia Coppola. To commemorate the event, limited edition T-shirts will be sold exclusively at the Amoeba Music store. All proceeds from the sale of this T-shirt will be donated to No-Kill Los Angeles, a community initiative led by the animal protection organization Best Friends Animal Society that has a no-kill policy for animals.
