Ermanno Scervino has taken over from Dolce & Gabbana the design of the official suits for the Italian national football team, starting with this year's European Championship.

The 16-17 Autumn/Winter collection, unveiled in Milan on January 18th, features a gorgeous and luxurious collection reminiscent of the good old days of Milanese men's fashion, the 90s.

Both men's and women's collections are based on Scervino's signature soft and light materials, with a rock-inspired feel. Black is the main color, and patterns such as glen plaid, stripes, and stripes are used in monochrome styling. Khaki military items are also given a glamorous finish with shawl collars, fur, and leather gloves.

Oversized knitwear features large lettering such as WILD and HEROES, while luxuriously embroidered coats, crystal beads and shiny items are typical of the glamorous, successful wardrobe of a brand known for its association with Hollywood celebrities, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. Even the variations in the borders in the finale follow the maison's traditional path of luxury, with a background in artisanal production.
