On February 4th, UNITED ARROWS will simultaneously release items from the "united LOVE project 2016," a charity project in collaboration with domestic and international designers.
The project aims to rebuild areas devastated by the Great East Japan Earthquake. To date, the brand has released items in collaboration with domestic and international designers, and donated 500 yen for each item purchased to the Community Chest of Japan's Disaster Volunteer and NPO Activity Support Fund2.
The first collection of the year will feature 12 items inspired by chinos. Participating brands include 11 brands: Beautiful People, KAON, Laula, PIPPICHIC, LUDLOW, RIKA, TEMBEA, CINOH, coeur femme, Fill the Bill, and O'NEIL.
The collaboration with Beautiful People features a jacket that blends the brand's 16SS collection theme of "vintage couture" with the work-inspired feel of chino. Accented with a gold star motif and dome-shaped buttons featuring the brand's logo, the jacket features a feminine KAON blouse with a ruffled collar and gathered hem. Laula's blouse features a striking gathered neckline, gaucho pants with a large tassel belt, and a PIPPICHIC basket bag decorated with colorful pompoms. Prices range from 10,800 yen to 67,000 yen.
