Following the opening of its new store at Dover Street Market New York (DSMNY), long-established eyewear brand MOSCOT will also be opening an event space at Dover Street Market Ginza in Tokyo's Ginza district from January 11th. The event will run until February 6th.
In addition to a wide selection of MOSCOT's collections, a special edition model, "LEMTOSH LIMITED EDITION FOR DOVER STREET MARKET," created to commemorate the opening of DSMNY, will be sold in limited quantities.
The special edition model features a tobacco-colored frame of Moscot's signature "LEMTOSH" with specially designed Caliber Green glass lenses. It will be available exclusively at DSM's New York, London, and Ginza stores, priced at 30,450 yen. Hyman Moscot, the founder of Moscot, started selling eyewear in 1899. His son Sol opened his first shop in 1925. The business has since been passed down to Hyman's sons for four generations, and his original design eyewear is sold in select shops around the world.
