Celine Dion is one of the most popular artists in music history, having won five Grammy Awards for smash hits such as "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic and "Beauty and the Beast" from Beauty and the Beast, and with total album sales of an astounding 250 million. Valérie Lemercier, a national star and acclaimed film director, was so moved by Celine's loneliness, courage, and candor as an artist, as well as the energy of the people around her, that she decided to "make a film about her life." Directed, written, and starring in the film, Lemercier faithfully recreates Celine's journey with passion and respect.

Valérie Lemercier plays Aline, modeled after Celine Dion, captivating audiences with her stunning stage performance. Since the real-life Celine Dion is still an active singer and the only one of her kind in the world, Lemercier chose the name Aline Dieu for her character as a tribute to her. The young singer Victoria Sció, who has been active in France since she was 11 years old, was chosen for the important role of singing Celine Dion's songs. With a vocal ability so strong it's hard to believe she's the real Celine, she exquisitely covers a number of classic songs.
This is an invigorating success story about a girl who is ordinary in every way except for singing, but who becomes a huge star through hard work. One of the highlights of the film is seeing her continue to sing alongside her husband "to bring happiness to people around the world." This musical entertainment resonates with everyone, conveying the pure bond of their souls as they pursue their dream of bringing happiness to people through song through the "voice of love."

Aline was born as the 14th and youngest child into a music-loving family living in Quebec, Canada. Her family soon discovered her extraordinary singing talent and sent a demo tape to renowned local producer Guy-Claude. Thanks to his efforts, Aline made her debut at age 12 and was instantly hailed as a "prodigy." However, Guy-Claude planned and prepared to devote his life to carefully polishing this miraculous gem. And so begins her journey from Quebec to Paris and the world, climbing the ladder to become the diva of the century. For Aline and Guy-Claude, it is also a journey to find true love.
