Today, in our third installment, we'll be looking at the venue where Pitti is held!
Pitti is held in Florence, a city with a beautiful Duomo and cobblestone streets. The main venue is the historic Fortezza da Basso.
The theme for this event is "Rock me Pitti," and motifs like guitar picks and musical instruments can be seen throughout the décor.
When I first heard the theme, I wondered what rock music would be like at Pitti, but the sophisticated color scheme, based on muted browns, is very Pitti-like and wonderful.
The cafes in the trade fair also have a lovely atmosphere. Even more than Tokyo, it's common to meet people from the fashion industry at Pitti! Taking a break here to exchange information seems like a unique way to spend time at Pitti.
