Bunka Publishing Bureau published "Yohji Yamamoto: A Record of Fashion" (2,835 yen) on January 24th, tracing the career of designer Yohji Yamamoto. Edited by Yoshiko Taguchi, former editor-in-chief of "High Fashion" and "Mr. High Fashion," the book re-edits articles about Yamamoto that appeared in the company's magazines, "Soen," "High Fashion," and "Mr. High Fashion." The book showcases the brand's history through archives of all of Yohji Yamamoto's femme and homme collections, exclusive backstage photos from the Paris Collection, and other valuable documents, including photos of the work that won the Soen Award in 1969, the "6.1 THE MEN" joint show with COMME des GARÇONS held in Tokyo in 1991, a conversation between Wim Wenders and Satomi Yamamoto, and a portrait of Pina Bausch wearing Yohji Yamamoto. It also includes a new 10,000-character interview with Yamamoto.
